Come One! Come All!

Polymer Clay Central is holding its 108th Polymer Clay Central Challenge for December 2008! Our theme for this month is WINTER FANTASY, so get your projects ready and in the mail!

The deadline to send in projects for the contests is the 15th of the month (if your entry will be a little late, please email us and let us know and then send it Priority Mail - DO NOT use expensive Express Mail!), and the Contest page will be posted on or about the 20th of the month. Voting will continue to the end of the month, and then the Winners will be announced. The Winners Page will stay on the web until voting begins for the next Contest, at which time it will be placed in our Contest Archive.

To enter now, read the rules below and send in your projects for the December Challenge by the 15th of December, and try for a great prize package from our sponsor - Polymer Clay Express.

The Theme for the December 2008 Challenge is:

WINTER FANTASY

Use this theme as the inspiration for your project!

CONTEST RULES - PLEASE READ:

  1. This contest is open to ANYONE. Young, old, male, female, staff members and web surfers, anyone who loves to play with Polymer Clay.

  2. One entry per contestant. Multiple items will be photographed as one entry.

  3. Your entry must be based on Polymer Clay. Other added embellishments will be accepted.

  4. Projects must be original.

  5. Projects must NOT appear anywhere on the Internet or in any collections where they could be recognized before or while the contest is in progress. Contestants must NOT identify their own project at any message board or email list or their entry will be disqualified.

  6. Project must include your name, email address and snailmail address. On the outside of the package please write Polymer Clay Challenge or PCC, so we can identify what pile to put the packages in! (it's a very busy PO Box!)

  7. If you want your project back, you have to send it in a returnable package with sufficient postage (NO metered strips, please!) to make it's way back to your house. For international members, PCC will pick up the return postage if you want your piece returned. All other submissions will be treasured and stored to use in future lessons and Galleries on the Polymer Clay Central web site.

  8. Voting will take place from the minute the Projects go up until Midnight the last day of the month!

  9. After the votes are tallied, the winner will be announced, and the name of each artists will be revealed on the contest pages. The projects will remain on that Web page until the next contest is uploaded, and then they will then be archived to the Master Index.

  10. IMPORTANT:1st Place Prize Winners are not eligible to win again in the next contest, but they are invited to play along anyway.

  11. Prizes awarded are provided solely by the Sponsor, and are not returnable or refundable.
