This piece, which is about 4" x 3", is another example of what you can do with Premo Sculpey metallics. The piece is entirely flat. I made it just to see if I could do the Tumbling Block quilt pattern in just one color. What looks like shading here, is the reflective quality of the clay. As you move the piece, different faces of the cubes light up, giving a very effective illusion of depth. It was NOT an easy piece to make, and I have no idea what to with this thing, except show it here. |
