Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?
I have been sculpting in Super Sculpey for about 3 years.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?
Walt Disney
What is your specialty?
I have sculpted many different creations, such as teddy bears
dragons and people.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?
It is so easy to work in.And I can work any time on one
thing or start over.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?
No.
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?
I have done craft shows.
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?
My dream is do make and sell my creations in a magazine.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?
The one thing is to practice and have plenty of patience!
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
organization?
No,but I would really like to meet other sculptures,and see
how they work in the clay.
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?
Super Sculpey, it`s so easy to work with. I have worked in
Fimo and I found very difficult to soften and you can`t
change what you have created.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your
training?
I have been sculpting for at least 16 years. The first things
I made were with Play Dough. I am totally self taught, and I love it
more than any other type of art.
