I have been working with polymer clay for 6 wonderful years. I
started after the birth of my son, as a hobby.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Maureen Carlson and Sheree Soles.
What is your specialty?

Figurines, ornaments, anything to do with country, and
Christmas.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

I never run out of ideas.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

Not yet.
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

Have been in Country Marketplace magazine five times. Two honorable
mentions for ornaments, the others were projects. I teach classes for
beginners and advanced.
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

Hope to have a book.Hopefully five years from now I'll still be
claying away.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Stick with it. Just like anything else the more you do the better
you become.
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
organization?

no
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

Sculpey, it's much softer and easier to work with.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your
training?

I have three children and a wonderful husband that had adjusted to
my clay over the years. I love all sorts of crafts, I sell my clay in three
shops, and teach classes at the painting shed in Hendersonville, N.C.
I also do painted gourds, Santa's and Snowmen of course. We also
have a new home in the country that is filled with polymer clay.
