Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I discovered polymer clay about 1980. I first discovered
Sculpey at a miniature show.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

The "Masters" and Neo-classic artists, and Brigette Dival.
What is your specialty?

Realistic human forms in a classic style. Mostly small and
detailed with lots of diagonals, and emotional subjects.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

It is warm to the touch and gives a lifelike feeling.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

No.
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

Several 1st place awards at the Bohler Show.
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

Teaching, traveling, and doing stronger pieces.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Dream, believe and practice... and never give up. Visualize
the finished product the way you want it to be.
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
organization?

Academy of Ameriacan Doll Artists, Imitation of Life Construction Company
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

At the moment I am using Super Sculpey. I like the way I do
not need to mix the skin color. I let it age though before I use it to
make it stiffer.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your
training?

I am self taught. I live in San Diego, California. I am the
mother of a large family.. we raised 6 children. Our youngest is a
freshman in college. I now have more time to devote to my art.I love
meeting people and making new friends.
