Kanawha Valley Polymer Clay Guild
Kanawha Valley Polymer Clay Guild is a newly formed guild looking
for members. We are sponsoring "Elevating the Artform:Polymer
Clay and Other Media," a conference to be held at the Greenbrier
Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV on November 10-12, 2002. We
plan to meet monthly beginning in December 2002. Contact Judy

"Elevating the Artform:Polymer Clay and Other Media," a
conference to be held at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs,
WV on November 10-12, 2002. A welcome reception will be held on
November 9th at Tamarack, "The Best of West Virginia" our
state's premier retail artisan's center. The presenters at the conference
will be Lindly Huanani, Donna Kato, Judy Kuskin, Jacqueline Lee, Steve
Payne and Steven E. Kawash. Each of the presenters will bring a
fresh approach to marketing, selling and the business aspects needed for
a career in the craft field. A juried sales event will be held in
conjunction with the conference. This event will bring each chosen
artist's work in contact with many potential buyers also staying at the
resort.
There is no charge for the conference itself, but you must be a
registered guest of the Greenbrier on November 10 and 11.
Hotel reservations will automatically reserve your admittance to the
conference.

conference. A special rate will apply for all those traveling
between November 6 - 15, 2002, into Charleston, Beckley and Greenbrier,

Entries are now being accepted for the juried exhibition and sale. You
must attend the conference to be considered for the exhibition and
sale. Send three slides (marked artist's name, title, and
medium) with artists statement or resume, inventory list with retail
prices, $15.00 non refundable application fee, and a SASE to:
