First you will need a sheet of White Premo 2"x3", and an Ecru Premo sheet same size. Mix Premo Ecru and Premo Raw Sienna together 1:1 and roll out a 2"x3" sheet. Roll out a Premo Raw Sienna sheet same size.

Stack the sheets. This is a side view of the sheet so you can see how the colors are stacked. You are stacking the sheets from light to dark! White, Ecru, Ecru and Raw Sienna mix, and Raw Sienna.

Cut this whole stack in half. You now have two stacks 1 1/2" x 2"

Stack one half directly on top of the other.

Start to reduce the block of stacked colors.

Reduce and pull the stack out to about 5".

Cut this stack in half.

Stack one half directly on top of the other.

Now reduce this stack as before.

Reduce and stretch out to 5" and cut in half again.

Stack one half directly on top of the other.

Reduce and stretch out to 5" again. Note that you don't have to be neat on this stack when reducing. Actually, the stack and finished wood will look better if you are not precise.

Notice here how close the lines in the cane are getting.

Stretch out to 5" again again.

And again cut in half.

Stack one half directly on top of the other.

This time when you reduce this block you are going to put more pressure on the top and flatten it out more than before.

Reduce out to 5" again and cut in half
