Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

About eight years ago I started using cernit to make santas. Then I got into the doll scene in 1993.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

All of the artists in the magazine called Contemporary Doll.

What is your specialty?

My specialty is one of a kind original art dolls made in cernit.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

You can create any character or fantasy doll you desire.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

None

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

None

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

I instruct how to create your own original art doll. I hope to be doing this all around the country.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Get used to one medium before you move on to the next. Then you can weed out the details of what you like the most about one or the other.

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

I am a PDMA Guild Master Artist.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

Cernit has great strength when creating dolls and jewelry. It comes in a variety of colors and doesn't leave your hands all stained up like cheaper polymers.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I am basicly self taught, except for the Jack Johnston seminars I've taken. He is the one who encouraged me to teach.
