Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

My mom introduced it to me in 92. I have been addicted since.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Donna Kato, Maureen Carlson, Sue Heaser.
What is your specialty?

Miniatures, jewelry and roses
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

I find it easy to work with and has never ending possibilities.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

Not now.
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

No.
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

Doing my art full time. I expect to be selling my stuff full time in a year.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Use the clay that bests suits you and what you are making.
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
organization?

NWPCG
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

I use to love Cernit because I could get it through mail order cheaply. But am a firm Premo user now.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your
training?

Most of my training is in drawing and painting. I have dabbled in sculpting and find it the most fun. Poly clay
enables me to combine all three. My family is very supportive and my daughters are very interested in their
own clay projects. My husband has been my best fan and worst critic.
