Specialties: I love working with translucent clays. The clarity and depth that translucent clay offers is an ongoing investigation.
First Experience With Clay: A friend showed me some beads that she had made with intricate flower patterns. I was intrigued and wanted to know how they were created. My friend showed me how and I became addicted to clay. Since then, I have used polymer clay in my textile work in the form of beads and embellishments.
Past Teaching Experiences: I started teaching High School students as Art Teacher back in 1971. In additition I have taught adults in workshop and term courses in textile art.
