Specialties:  I specialize in innovative themes to cover things with all techniques---probably called mixed medium.
First Experience With Clay:  I picked up a toolbox of clay and supplies that I had been storing for 12 years after my 8-year old son gave it up, reconstituted the clay and started to work with it. Viola! Within 3 months I was juried into my first art gallery show in Colorado Springs! I just love how easy polymer clay translates into beautiful artwork!
Past Teaching Experiences:  I went to the 3 day workshop in Las Vegas in Dec. 2004. While waiting for my project to cook, some women came over to my table to see some of the canes I had brought with me, and I found myself giving MY first lesson on Natasha beads! I am also the Polymer clay Instructor for Jo-Anns, Pensacola, Florida.
Publication Experience:  I am to be the featured artist on southernvisionaryart.com, and I am waiting to hear back from publications on projects that I have submitted. Additionally, my work is now being "shown" at art gallery "Analece" in Fairhope, Alabama.

Words of Encouragement to Novice Teachers:

"I have always trusted my heart and a dedication to excellence to guide any decision I make. If I feel that I can provide knowledge and value, then I am ready to teach. When in doubt I ask the Lord to help in my final decisions! If I can do it then you can do it too!"
